Freeze & Float Spa: A Floating Oasis in the Heart of Chicago

Nestled in the bustling city of Chicago, Freeze & Float Spa offers a unique and rejuvenating experience for those seeking respite from the stresses of daily life. This state-of-the-art float therapy center has become a notable destination for locals and visitors alike, providing a sanctuary of relaxation and wellness in the heart of the Windy City.

Located at 371 W Ontario St, Freeze & Float Spa is conveniently situated in the trendy River North neighborhood, just a short distance from some of Chicago's most popular attractions. The spa's sleek, modern exterior sets the tone for the tranquil and serene experience that awaits inside.

Freeze & Float Spa's primary offering is its float therapy sessions, which take place in private, light- and sound-proof float pods filled with epsom salt-infused water. These float sessions are designed to help visitors achieve a deep state of relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and provide relief for various physical and mental ailments. The spa offers 60-minute and 90-minute float sessions, with prices starting at $99 for a 60-minute session.

In addition to float therapy, Freeze & Float Spa also provides a range of other wellness services and amenities, including:

- Cryotherapy - This cutting-edge treatment uses extreme cold temperatures to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism, and improve overall well-being. - Infrared Sauna - Visitors can experience the detoxifying and rejuvenating benefits of infrared sauna therapy, either individually or in a couples' sauna. - Lymphatic Massage - Skilled massage therapists perform specialized lymphatic drainage massages to help improve circulation and reduce fluid retention. - Facial Treatments - The spa's aestheticians offer a variety of advanced facial treatments, including microdermabrasion and LED light therapy, to improve skin health and appearance. - Couples Services - Freeze & Float Spa provides unique couples' experiences, such as side-by-side float sessions and couple's infrared sauna sessions, for a romantic and relaxing retreat.

Freeze & Float Spa has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from its customers, with a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars based on over 400 reviews. Customers consistently praise the spa's exceptional service, clean and well-maintained facilities, and the transformative benefits of their treatments.

Many reviewers highlight the professionalism and expertise of the staff, who are known for their attentiveness and ability to tailor the experience to each visitor's needs. One customer raved, "The services were wonderful. We'll be back!" while another described the float therapy as "a wonderful, relaxing experience."

Some visitors have noted that the check-in and check-out process could be slightly faster, but this is a minor critique compared to the overwhelming praise for the spa's services and amenities. One customer who initially gave a lower rating later updated their review, stating, "I hate to leave a bad review, but felt like it was necessary given the quality of service / spa vs. what was advertised (and for the pricing). When entering the spa and beginning your session, they bring you back to change in a community bathroom that feels somewhat like a hospital bathroom/high school... However, the actual float session was amazing and I left feeling very relaxed."

Freeze & Float Spa offers a range of pricing options to accommodate different budgets and needs. In addition to the 60-minute and 90-minute float sessions, the spa also offers membership packages starting at $79 per month, which provide discounts on services and additional benefits.

The spa is open seven days a week, with operating hours from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and preparation.

For those driving to the spa, there are several nearby parking options, including a public parking garage located just a block away. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and to bring any necessary personal items, such as a bathing suit or toiletries, as the spa provides towels and shower amenities.
