Oh Baby Float Spa

Oh Baby Float Spa: A Unique Floating Oasis for Carmel Families

Located in the heart of Carmel, Indiana, Oh Baby Float Spa is a specialized float therapy center catering to the needs of infants, toddlers, and their families. As one of the few float therapy centers in the greater Indianapolis area, Oh Baby offers a unique and enriching experience for the city's youngest residents.

Opened in 2021, Oh Baby Float Spa is dedicated to providing water-based therapies and activities to aid in the mental and physical development of babies and young children. Housed in a 1,200-square-foot facility, the spa features a serene, calming atmosphere designed to put both little ones and their caregivers at ease.

At the core of Oh Baby's offerings are their infant and toddler float sessions. Conducted in specialized float pods filled with warm, shallow water, these sessions allow babies to freely move and explore in a weightless, sensory-reduced environment. According to the spa, this can help promote relaxation, improve sleep, and support motor skill development.

Beyond the float tanks, Oh Baby provides a range of other services and amenities for their young clients and their families. These include:

- Massage therapy: Licensed massage therapists offer gentle, soothing massages tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers. - Baby yoga: Calming yoga classes help babies develop body awareness and motor skills in a fun, nurturing setting. - Baby sensory play: Carefully curated sensory stations allow little ones to engage their senses through touch, sight, and sound. - Parenting workshops: Educational sessions cover topics like baby sleep, feeding, and developmental milestones. - Retail boutique: Oh Baby's onsite boutique offers specialty baby products, toys, and gifts. - Private suites: Families can reserve private suites for nursing, diaper changes, or simply relaxing together.

All float sessions are by appointment only, and first-time visitors will need to complete a brief intake form. The spa provides clean, comfortable swimwear, towels, and other necessary items, so guests only need to bring themselves and their little ones.

It's recommended that visitors arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in, changing, and getting settled. Oh Baby also encourages families to plan for some quiet, reflective time after their sessions to fully experience the benefits.
